She was extremely arrogant and rude, and her main focus seemed to be money rather than patient care. I went there in severe pain, and the very first thing she said was, “You hate coming here,” said in a tone that implied I should be smiling. I was in pain—why would I be smiling? She proceeded to use a machine for the examination, but then claimed that she could not check my stomach and insisted that I needed additional tests. I find it hard to understand how a stomach specialist cannot examine the stomach in her own clinic. I was charged 400 DH for this, in addition to 350 DH for the consultation. While she was explaining the medication, I was visibly uncomfortable due to the pain, and she bluntly said, “You are weird. I don’t have to explain any of this to you.” This was shocking and completely unprofessional. As a patient, I am entitled to a clear explanation of my treatment—this is part of the service I am paying for. Speaking to a patient in pain this way shows a serious lack of empathy and professionalism. At the very least, she could have asked if I was okay. The overall experience was dehumanizing, and I left feeling disrespected rather than cared for. It is, unfortunately, not surprising that the clinic was empty.
